After our artifacts were created and presented, we were to choose three from the class and sketch them, water-coloring them into a vignette. I had not really had any prior instructions or technique training in water colors before this, i'd simply played around with them myself, trying to learn some by doing. I think they turned out rather well, and composed well on the page. One suggestion Suzanne made to me though, was to try letting more of the natural white of the paper show through, helping to accentuate the lighting. This was one concern i'd discovered from my own ventures into water color, and I believe this tip will help me to not saturate the entire drawing with color so much.
